Customising characters/objects in games
One of the great things i love about Forza 3 is the livery editor and being able to customise the look of your car. It gives you a real sense of ownership. Now Army of Two is out (it is truck loads better than the last one) and has a mask and armor editor you can play around with. Its the sort of cool feature that all games should have. It gives you a unique aspect to your game.
Anyway so I had a muck around with th editor and designed these maesks that Salem and Rios are now wearing in my game.

Forza 3 session last nite
Had a fantastic session of Forza3 last nite.
Scotty Canuck (http://www.canuckistan.org/) set up a private party of five of us and we raced a great selection of tracks and classes. The racing was high quality and very clean. There was the occasion racing incident crash but they just added to some hilarious fun - including a four car tangle on resumption of one of our safety car incidents.

Darwin (War Museum)
Whilst up at Darwin got a chance to check out the war museum. So cool! They have some awesome stuff there...I think i used up almost all the memory card in just the museum trip alone!

Back from Darwin (Jumping Crocs)
Back from Darwin folks!
Now I know why they call it the wet season at this time of year. I think it rained every day we were up there...and boy, when it rains does it really rain. Must say though the weather was quite mild - the humidity was more than Melbourne but overall the heat didn't really get that high,
Overall though the weather didn't really effect the trip and we did get good weather when we needed it. The river cruise to see the jumping crocs was fantastic! Man those beasties are impressive

Happ New Year!
Happy new year, all!!!!
No boozing for me tonite. We went and saw Avatar in 3d and I gotta say I have to eat humble pie in regards to my cynicisms going into this movie. I loved it. The special effects were amazing!...and I have to say I enjoyed the story. I definitely recommend everyone to go check this out in 3d!
Have done a bit more progress on my darksiders piece..will admit to lacking a bit of focus at this current moment in time. Heading up to Darwin tomorrow for about 5 days so this will be my last post till I get back.
