Saw something awesome at Trivia tonite. The restaurant has all my scribbles up on a wall near the kitchen and some of the kids that dine at the restaurant have done their own versions of my scribbles! Absolutely awesome!!! I didn't get a chance to get a photo of them but will endeavour to take one next week :)

Z Brush Course - class 2
A few mates and I have recently enrolled in a short Z Brush beginners course, running a few concecutive Saturdays and Victoria Uni in the city. We just recently did our second class which covered z spheres 1 and 2.
What an awesome program. Well equal parts awesome and equal parts frustrating i guess. I've never encountered a program that you can so easily completely lose your file if you're not sure what you are doing. That said though, I've also never encountered a program that has so many awesome features.
I can see I'm going to have a lot of fun with this program once I learn how to use it!!!

Parkour - 20 minute sketch
Have been gradually developing a bit of a fascination with parkour (free running). I still remember the first time i saw the reboot of Casino Royale. If someone had told me prior to that, that you could make an on foot chase more exciting than a car chase i would have laughed. I think that chase may be close to one of the coolest things i've ever seen in a bond movie.
Anyway, its this growing fascination that prompted today's little 20minute scribble...

Trivia Nite Scribbles
Best trivia nite score ever!
We may not have won (Let's not get carried away here!) but it was certainly our best effort to date. It may have helped that our trivia team has expanded to six and is all the better for it.
Tonite saw the birth of our new trivia team "The Mighty Mighteez". Alana and myself were joined this evening by Steph and Ray, and Amanda and Kelby. You could palpably feel the increase in the knowledge base! We also discovered that it is a lot more credible to express a potential answer if you do it whilst looking over the rim of your glasses :)
It was a great nite; probably the most fun nite to date. I even still managed to churn out a few scribbles....
