Saw something awesome at Trivia tonite. The restaurant has all my scribbles up on a wall near the kitchen and some of the kids that dine at the restaurant have done their own versions of my scribbles! Absolutely awesome!!! I didn't get a chance to get a photo of them but will endeavour to take one next week :)
Spent a bit of time tonite mucking around with extractaing masked areas to create armour...
Should have posted this before the model progress but this is the creature I sketched out as inspiration for my zbrush model...
Still having a bit of a play with zbrush. Its a heck of a lot of fun to use and quite accessible at a basic level but I get the feeling perhaps very tough to master. Nevertheless, in the meantime it should be a heap of fun.
Had a couple of hours tonite to spend playing around with z sheres and getting used to the z brush interface. I am loving this program!
A few mates and I have recently enrolled in a short Z Brush beginners course, running a few concecutive Saturdays and Victoria Uni in the city. We just recently did our second class which covered z spheres 1 and 2.

Been a bit late in posting this. The scribble from last Thursday's trivia nite...
Have been gradually developing a bit of a fascination with parkour (free running). I still remember the first time i saw the reboot of Casino Royale. If someone had told me prior to that, that you could make an on foot chase more exciting than a car chase i would have laughed. I think that chase may be close to one of the coolest things i've ever seen in a bond movie.
