Happy Halloween folks!

Halloween has always been a big event these last few years. My fiance is like the rock star of the street with all the little kids trick or treating as she always gives them a bundle of goodies. This year i've drawn up this little sketch to put out front.

Jake from Subway Surfers

Like so many others I am totally addicted to this game (Subway Surfers) on my ipad and iphone at the moment. Such a simple premise executed well and presented awesomely. Been playing a bit of it today so I thought I'd do up my own interpretation of lead character, Jake.
If you haven't already played this one check it out on the app store. Probably one of the best freel runners around.

Race Day sketch

The other day as I sat down in the morning I looked across to see a fellow colleague of mine, Jason, take a seat at his desk looking decidedly old school. A pair of goggles and a scarf and we would have had the full steampunk look going. And so before i started my morning cuppa I scribbled out ths quick 5 minute sketch. Made him look decidely serious...after all it was early morning.

Daily Draw 4 - Mr B

Well so much for these sketches being daily. Maybe I should have aimed more conservatively and said weekly. Anyway, his birthday is coming up so the topic of this sketch is the illustrious Mr B (My Dad)!

Pictured in the back is is faithful, fluffy, frightened companion, Zac.

Party Animals Fan

Received an email the other day from the mother of a young five year old girl who has been collecting Party Animals and they'd discovered that I'd worked on the brand. They were chasing a couple of characters that i was fortunate enough to have samples of so I'm sending them out to them and thought I'd draw up a little sketch and send it along as well. It was nice to draw some of the Party Animals again as its been a little while and I thought I might be a little rusty.

Micro Chargers

Check out the latest product  from Moose that I had the opportunity to work on. They are miniature cars that you charge for 8 seconds and then race over a series of customiseable cricuit and stunt tracks! http://www.microchargers.com/

It's easy to get caught up with work and say there's never any time left to do anything. Well, this is my attempt to combat that. I am making a concerted effort to at least draw "something" once a day. Let's hope this lasts! :)
