Melbourne Comics Quarterly - Jan 25 launch

Melbourne Comics Quarterly, an anthology publication in the vein of Dark Horse Presents and 2000AD, that features a glimpse into some of the Australian titles out at the moment.
From Above Issue 1 gets reprinted over the first four Issues of MCQ and shares the pages with some other stellar aussie titles.
Book Launch is being held at Gasolina (South Wharf, Melbourne), with Live bands and folks hanging around to party afterwards.

Photo Shoot with Oreo

So, I had to do a bit of a photo shoot with Oreo yesterday for something. Turns out he's a real diva when it comes to posing for photos. Trying to get him to pay attention is well...you see.

Deer Editor

One of the Australian titles I really enjoyed last year was Deer Editor by Ryan K Lindsay and drawn by Sami Kivela. As OzComics had their drawing challenge on this week I couldn't resist even if I am excluded from winning smile emoticon If you haven't read this book then seriously do yourself a favour - you're in for a treat!
