Another Boba Fett

Found myself purchasing yet another Funko vinyl today. It was the protoype Boba Fett, which then became an excuse as if I needed one) to draw Boba Fett again. This time I went for the veritable odd couple with him and Bossk.

Adding in some color for my pin up piece for Ray Dillon’s The Gate Keeper comic.

The Gate Keeper

Was really stoked to be asked to do a pin up for Ray Dillon’s upcoming comic, The Gatekeeper. Its got this cool post apocalyptic setting where after a massive end of the world event (see norse Ragnarok) most of the population are either wiped out or mutated. The handful of survivors find refuge in this last bastion they call Canyon City.

Protected by a massive gate the city is watched over by main protagonist, Clayton who dons a mysterious set of power armor and becomes the guardian of what is left of humanity.

Really cool concept, and I dug the ominous overtones, so naturally I decided to treat my piece in the only way I knew how... light heartedly :)

Black Panther

One of the more surprising announcements for Marvel movies for me was Black Panther. That said I am really looking forward to this movie. Is great to see Marvel taking a chance on some of their IPs that aren’t necessarily the heavy hitting mainstream. I think GOTG proved that gamble can sometimes pay off...in spades!

Deadpool .... again!

Another Deadpool piece. This was one I drew back at Oz Comic Con Melbourne and decided to give the color treatment.

Scotch College Literature Festival

I had the pleasure this week of being invited along to the Scotch College Literature Festival to do a bit of drawing for the kids and chat comics. Was a lot of fun. They really do put on an amazing event. A big thanks to Fleur and the crew for inviting me along and running such a great event!
