Bioshock:Infinite - Fan Art

Had a shot at doing a bit of fan art conceptual stuff for the upcoming Bioshock: Infinite.

This is my take on a turn of the century "Splicer"

I'm in the process of playing through Bioshock 2 again. Man, i love the Bioshock games.

Great narrative, design and general creative vision.

I've now played through both games twice (which is a big call for me). Its inspired me to put together this piece of fan art...

Tim Burton Exhibition

Went and saw the Tim Burton exhibition at ACMI on the weekend.

Fantastic! Absolutely loved it! I never realised he had such an extensive body of artwork. Was really inspiring. I loved seeing how he has carried his personal style through his art over the years and managed to evolve it.

I reckon any Tim Burton fan gets along to see this.

The exhibition has inspired me to do this little character concept with some very distinct Tim Burton influences.

Fan Art: When Naughty Bear meets Gears of War?

Been reading a bit lately about an upcoming console game called Naughty Bear. I've normally been hestitant with this game genre (dark humour/cartoony) but this one gives me some hope. From what I've read so far, the underlying gameplay mechanics sound like they take the gamer seriously whilst still aiming to deliver a humorous story on the surface.

I also read an article recently on the upcoming finale to the Gears of War trilogy, and boy am I excited about this game. Some of my greatest gaming experiences have been playing split screen co-op with the girlfriend through the first two gears of war games. The third instalment sounds like it certainly won't disappoint!

Anyway, the above two games have inspired this piece of hybrid fan art...

Here's the lastest update on the darksiders piece. Now i just have to decide whether to push this more, go and play the game for a while, or go and mow the lawn....hmmmm...

More Fable 2 fan art

Well as promised, I said i'd shut up and do some drawing. I also played a dose of Fable 2 last nite, which would also account for the subject matter of this sketch.

Fable 2 released

Picked up my preorder release of Fable 2 on Friday (this may be one of the reasons for the lack of entries on my blog lately!). Sooo Cool.
Sure the critical could pick their share of flaws with the game, but for me it is awesome! It has a real storybook charm, great art style and a really quirky sense of humour!
